ALTHOUGH they denied they will be running for Cebu City mayor and vice mayor, Jonathan "Atan" Guardo and Mary Ann de los Santos said there was a slight possibility they would still change their mind. The two opposition leaders of Cebu City said it is still weeks before the deadline for the filing of their candidacies. The two earlier said they were open to running for mayor and vice-mayor if there is a clamor from Cebu City residents.  

A COURT denied a motion for reconsideration filed by a group which asked for the stopping of the operations of two towing companies contracted by the Cebu City government. RTC Judge Silvestre Maamo Jr. of Branch 17 said there was insufficient basis to reverse his previous ruling. He earlier denied a petition for a temporary restraining order filed against One Stop and Road Warriors Towing and Motor Services.
